The Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association has released the state rankings as of Oct. 4, 2010 and three Northwest Suburban Conference teams are in this week's poll.
Blaine remained fourth, after moving up from ninth last week, following conference wins over Robbinsdale Armstrong and Andover and a 4-0 record, and the championship, in the Bengals' invitational. In all, they won 14 of 15 sets on the week.
After winning a pair of conference games and the Coon Rapids Invitational, Centennial, for the third week in a row, sits on the edge of poll, earning 49 points. The Cougars take on Blaine, Oct. 5, with the winner having the inside track to the 2010 NWSC title.
Andover received six points in the poll for the second week in a row.
